Working principle
Using laser scattering principle: 
Light scattering can be induced when particles go through the detecting area. The scattered light is transformed into electrical signals and these signals will be amplified and processed. Overview
PMS5003 is a kind of digital and universal particle concentration sensor, which can be used to obtain the number of suspended particles in the air, i.e. the concentration of particles, and output them in the form of digital interface. This sensor can be inserted into variable instruments related to the concentration of suspended particles in the air or other environmental improvement equipments to provide correct concentration data in time.
Working principle
Laser scattering principle is used for such sensor, i.e. produce scattering by using laser to radiate suspending particles in the air, then collect scattering light in a certain degree, and finally obtain the curve of scattering light change with time. In the end, equivalent particle diameter and the number of particles with different diameter per unit volume can be calculated by microprocessor based on MIE theory. Please find the functional diagram of each part of sensor from Figure 1 as follows.

After switching on the power supply, the blue indicator flashes and enters the Bluetooth mode; after broadcasting the "prompt sound", it enters the matching mode and waits for matching; after broadcasting the "prompt sound", the mobile Bluetooth searches for "XY-WRBT" (the name of the power amplifier board device), clicks on the "XY-WRBT" connection, and plays the "prompt sound" after the connection is successful, and when the indicator light is long, the mobile music can be played. Cautions for Power Supply with 3.7V Lithium Battery
 
1. When powered by batteries, the battery voltage is less than 3.3V decoder board automatically shuts down, and the contacts are switched on/off for 2 seconds after re-energizing or full charging.
 
2. When using batteries to supply power, if the voltage of batteries is too low, there may be "nourishing" noise. In this case, the batteries need to be charged.
 
3. Because there is no charge protection circuit for lithium batteries on decoder board, it is recommended to use lithium batteries with protection board.

Measuring the absolute pressure of the enviroment using a digital barometer such as this has some interesting applications. By converting the pressure measured into altitude, you have a reliable sensor for determining the height of your robot, plane .
Using a sensor as capable as the BMP180 you can achieve accurary of 1m, with noise of only 17cm in ultra high resolution noise. The device will operate at only 0.3uA meaning low current draw for battery powered applications.
The BMP180 comes fully calibrated and ready to use. As the device operates over I2C we've added optional I2C pull ups that can be enabled using the PU (pull up) jumper on the board for your convenience and ease during breadboarding.
Using I2C, the device provides pressure and temperature as 16bit values, which are used along with calibration data within the device are used to provide a temperature compensated altitude calculation.
