How to use the castration rings:The first step. Take out the tail castration rings and apply alcohols to it, so that the tail of the animal will be reduced during the tail castration process. If the hair is too long, it should be cut off to avoid infection of the wound. Put the tail castration trap on the castration forceps. Tail castration of animals can be performed after 1-3 weeks of birth.
The second step. Hold the expansion forceps and then the tail castration rings will be expanded. We will put the tail castration trap on the tail of the animal. Note that the tail castration position of the rams and the ewe are different. The rams should be at the 2-3 joints of the tail vertebra. The ewe should be at the base of the tail 3-4 coccygeal joints, not too close, and the anus will be exposed and easy to be infected.
Tail castration is not easy to do in the hot summer and cold winter.
