ADXL355 is a new series of products with low noise density, 0 G low misalignment drift, low power consumption and 3 axis MEMS accelerometer, with optional measurement range. The ADXL355 supports the ± 2.048g, ± 4.096g and ± 8.192g ranges, providing industry-leading noise, misalignment drift and long-term stability in the temperature range, enabling precision applications with minimal calibration effort and extremely low power consumption.
The ADXL355 can perform high-resolution vibration measurements at very low noise, enabling early detection of structural defects through wireless sensor networks. The low power performance of the new ADXL355 accelerometer can extend battery life while extending product life by reducing the number of battery replacements. The combination of the ADXL355's low noise and low power performance now enables low level vibration measurement applications, such as structural health monitoring (SHM), to be implemented at a cost-effective cost. In addition, the tilt stability of the ADXL355 accelerometer provides excellent repeatability over temperature and time ranges, making it ideal for directional and navigation systems in UAVs using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and an inclinometer. These latest accelerometer products provide repeatable tilt measurements in all environments, and they minimize tilt errors in harsh environments without the need for extensive calibration.
The ADXL355 accelerometer provides temperature stability with a zero misalignment coefficient of 0.15mg/C (maximum). This stability minimizes the resources and costs associated with calibration and testing, helping equipment OEM manufacturers achieve higher throughput rates. In addition, sealed packaging ensures that the final product meets repeatability and stability specifications long after it leaves the factory.
The ADXL355 MEMS accelerometer has an output full scale range (FSR) of ±2g to ±8g, an optional digital filter of 1 Hz to 1 kHz, and A low noise density of 25 A with A power consumption of less than 200 A. This device achieves the level of performance available in more expensive devices at a lower power consumption and BOM cost.
