Soil moisture sensor automatic watering system
This is a simple water sensor can be used to detect soil moisture, when the soil is short of water, the sensor output simulation value will decrease, otherwise will increase. Use this sensor to create an automatic watering device that can sense if your plants are thirsty when you have been away from home for a long time or when you have had too much time to water. Keep the plants from wilting until they know it's caused by a lack of water. Work with an Arduino controller to make your plants more comfortable and your garden smarter.
 
The sensor surface has been metallized to extend its service life. Insert it into the soil and read it using an AD converter. With its help, the plant will tell you: I need to drink water, please give me some water to drink.
