The TTP229 is a digital capacitive touch keyboard, capacitive touch does not require pushing force like regular buttons, but instead, the touch of a finger alters the electrical field between the layers of the keypad.
The TTP229 features 16 touch-sensitive pads, making it an ideal replacement for the older style force driven keypads.
