Description:
This is a breakout card for the SP3485 RS-485 transceiver IC that converts a UART serial stream to RS-485. The SP3485 is a half-duplex transceiver so that it can only communicate in one direction at a time, but can achieve transmission speeds of up to 10 Mbit / s. This card requires very little power and can be operated from a single + 3.3 VDC supply.
