LT8705 automatic step-up and step-down, solar maximum power tracking (MPPT), battery charging controller, can provide efficient and stable power supply for all kinds of equipment (such as notebooks).
1. Module size: 125*76*25
2. Lingliert LT8705 Synchronized Rectifier Automatic Boost-Down Control Scheme
3. Unisolated BUCK-BOOST
4. Current mode control (the former is superior to the latter in the difference between current mode and voltage module)
5. Input voltage 2.8-100V (2.8V work requires external EXTVCC (>6.5V)
6. Adjustable range of input voltage: 9-80V. This function is suitable for MPPT solar panels. Please see the details.
7. Output Voltage Regulation: 1.3-80V (Need to replace adjustable resistance or upper resistance, please keep a certain margin)
8. Output Current Regulation: 0.5-15A
Application notes
1. Solar maximum power charging: Input current restriction function is very suitable for constant current source charging of solar panels. It is a good choice to purchase two 200 W panels and charge the module. The output is directly connected to the battery charging, without worrying about backfilling, as long as the output is not connected with the positive and negative of the battery.
2. High Current and High Efficiency Charging of Automotive Batteries and Charging Power Supply System of Two-stage Automotive Batteries
3. Constant current charging of large capacity lithium-iron batteries
4. Constant current drive of high power LED
5. Battery regulated power supply system and backup regulator of telecommunication base station.
6. It can be used as an adjustable regulator with low requirements (response speed, accuracy, noise is inferior to linear regulator, but it has high efficiency and high power characteristics).
7. Other adjustable constant current applications
Other
DC-DC Controller Current Mode and Voltage Mode Difference:
Voltage mode: There is only one voltage feedback loop. The PWM is changed after the voltage signal is converted. The dynamic response is poor, and a larger filter capacitor is needed. The system has no built-in current limiting protection function, part of which may be external, and does not participate in system feedback.
Current mode: fast dynamic response, good stability, real inductance current soft start, accurate and fast current feedback, easy to achieve current sharing, easy feedback design, relatively low capacitance requirements, this mode takes inductance current signal as the feedback inner loop, plus voltage feedback as the outer loop of double loop control.
MPPT function: The module has the function of input voltage limitation, that is, after setting the maximum power point voltage of solar energy, as long as the voltage is lower than this value, the module will reduce the output current, reduce the output power, and ensure the input voltage is stable at the set value. For example, the maximum power point voltage of solar cells is 34V. First, the input voltage is adjusted to 34V, and the input voltage potentiometer is adjusted counterclockwise until the module has no output. At this time, the maximum input voltage of the module is 34V.
Compared with the solar controller without MPPT function, the energy utilization of this module is still much higher, at least under the maximum illumination conditions.
Mode Selection: This module provides mode selection, which can be selected in jump mode, discontinuous mode and forced continuous mode.
