Module features
1. Original FT232RL main control chip, fast speed and good stability.
2. Support Windows XP/WIN7/WIN8/WIN10 32/64 bit system.
3. The stable speed can reach 3Mbps (3 times of 921600).
4. The power supply VCC and signal level (including flow control pins CTS/RTS/DTR/RI/DCD) can be freely switched between 5V/3.3V/1.8V, adapting to systems with different voltages.
5. Integrated power (blue), receiving (green), sending (red) three indicator lights.
6. The onboard 500mA self-recovery fuse will automatically disconnect when over-current/short-circuit, effectively protecting the safety of the computer.
7. Strong power supply capability, with a maximum output current of 500mA, which can drive most SCM system boards.
8. Integrated protection diode, the signal line will not damage the module if there is an abnormal voltage occasionally.
9. Lead out the CTS/RTS/DSR/RI/DCD signal pins, which can facilitate hardware flow control.
10. Small size and high integration. The PCB is only 20*50mm, which only occupies the width of a USB interface. Even if the distance between the USB ports is very tight, it will not affect the insertion of other devices on the computer.
Pin description
1.5V/3.3V/1.8V selection pin: switch the short-circuit cap to select the output voltage. (Must be connected)
2. TX/RX: Serial data pin (refers to the TX/RX of the module, corresponding to the RX/TX of the external device)
3. VCC/GND: power/ground (GND must be connected, VCC can be left floating) hardware flow control pins are reserved, because they are rarely used, so the headers are not soldered by default.
The TX/RX pin short-circuit cap is directly connected at the time of delivery for testing functions, and can be removed when using.
