Introduction to MQ-135 sensor:
The gas-sensitive material used in the MQ135 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2) with low conductivity in clean air. When there is pollutant gas in the environment where the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the pollutant gas concentration in the air. Using a simple circuit, the change in conductivity can be converted into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
The MQ135 sensor has a high sensitivity to ammonia, sulfide, and benzene vapors, and it is also ideal for smoke and other harmful monitoring. This sensor can detect a variety of harmful gases and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.
Module application:
Hazardous gas detection device used in homes and environments, suitable for the detection of harmful gases such as ammonia, aromatic compounds, sulfide, benzene vapor, smoke, etc. The test concentration range of gas-sensitive components: 10 to 1000ppm
Module features:
1. Adopt high-quality double-panel design, with power indication and TTL signal output indication;
2. With doing switch signal (TTL) output and AO analog signal output;
3. TTL output valid signal is low level. (The signal light is on when the output is low, and it can be directly connected to the single-chip microcomputer or relay module)
4. The voltage of analog output, the higher the concentration, the higher the voltage.
5. It has better sensitivity to air quality and harmful gas detection.
6. There are four screw holes for easy positioning;
7. Product dimensions: 32(L)*20(W)*22(H)
8. It has a long service life and reliable stability
9. Fast response and recovery characteristics
Electrical performance:
Input voltage: DC5V Power consumption (current): 150mA
DO output: TTL digital quantity 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
AO output: 0.1-0.3V (relatively pollution-free), the highest concentration voltage is about 4V
Special reminder: After the sensor is powered on, it needs to be warmed up for about 20S to stabilize the measured data. It is normal for the sensor to heat up, because there is a heating wire inside, if it is hot, it will not be normal.
Wiring:
1. VCC: connect to the positive pole of the power supply (5V)
2. GND: connect to the negative pole of the power supply
3. DO: TTL switch signal output
4. AO: analog signal output
