RCWL-0801 is a ranging module that can be powered by 3.3V-5V and uses high-quality laser ranging sensor VL53LOX. The module uses a high-performance MCU, which integrates the VL53L0X arithmetic filtering algorithm, and can directly output the measured distance value through the serial port.

Application
Distance measurement in long distance mode 1. Connect the hardware 2. Confirm the current baud rate (if known, this step is not required). Select three baud rates of 9600N1, 192001, and 15200N1 to input DO data. If DO is returned, it indicates that the baud rate is the module's current baud rate 3. Enter CO, PC serial port software gets CO. Long distance mode is set successfully 4. Enter A0, and the serial port software on the PC side will get two 8-digit hexadecimal data, which is converted into I0 base to measure the distance (unit: mm)
