St-link /V2 is an online simulation and download development tool designed by ST Semiconductor for the evaluation and development of STM8 and STM32 series MCU.
STM8 series is connected with ST-link /V2 through SWIM interface;
The STM32 series is connected to ST-Link /V2 through the JTAG/SWD interface.
St-link /V2 connects to the PC through high-speed USB2.0.
