There sensors and detectors can not work without gateway.Gateway need to connect with WI-FI router, if you already have gateway, you can purchase our Zigbee sensors or detector only.
The Zigbee sensor and detector can not work standalone without gateway.
If your house too big then zigbee signal can't not cover every corner,then you can use this Zigbee signal repeater.
This repeater only can transit zigbee signal.
Transit signal strength depends on the actual house.
