How to use :
When using the driver board for the first time or changing other VU meter, the maximum threshold position of the VU meter must be recalibrated, that is important, it's driver board maximum output level pair to VU meter's pointer maximum swing position .when you done this setup option.you will get the best display effect, below are the steps: Wiring the VU meter to the driver board by wiring instructions, then turn on the power.
In the default state, if the pointer has been move maximum, you can through adjust the both VU adjustable resistances ,to set VU meter's pointer swing to normal position ,like about 0dB position. Push the function key to the "SET" position, enter setup mode. the drive board will output the signal of the maximum value to push the VU meter pointer swing to maximum position. Then you can adjust the Vu adjustment resistance to swing pointer to the maximum position of the dial.
After adjustment done, must be reset the "SET" key back to null position, then the meter can be use at this moment. When using tungsten bulbs, If the brightness of the left and right backlights are not balanced, you can adjust the backlight of each meter individually to balance their brightness.
Note: Because there are many types of VU meter for sale on the market. The scale of each VU meter may be different. When combined work with this driver board, the pointer maybe can't point to the correct scale number. Except the 0dB position., which is normal. By setting 2X square Compression or 4X square compression mode. Choose the closest effect to match the your VU meter.
