EC-TDS transmitter has the characteristics of on-line one-button calibration, automatic temperature compensation, alarm of the quality of the calibration electrode, power-off protection (which can prevent the calibration results and preset data from being lost due to shutdown or power-off), over-current protection, over-voltage protection, high measurement accuracy, fast response and long service life. The product is small in size, light in weight, easy to install and maintain. Standard industrial signal output (0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20MA, Modbus RTU485) can maximize the field connection of various real-time monitoring equipment. The product is convenient to connect with all kinds of control equipment and display instruments to realize on-line monitoring of EC and TDS status. This product is suitable for plating, fermentation, food processing, sewage treatment, metallurgy, environmental protection and other occasions.
The relationship between linear analog signals and corresponding physical quantities:
0-5V output: physical quantity = corresponding range X sensor output voltage/5.0,
0-10V output: physical quantity = corresponding range X sensor output voltage/10.0,
4-20mA output: physical quantity = corresponding range X (sensing output current - 4.0)/16.0,
For example: 0-5V output, the range is 4400uS/cm, if the sensor output voltage is 3V, then corresponding EC value at this time.
For: EC = 4400uS/cm x sensor output voltage/5.0
= 4400uS/cm x 3.0/5.0 = 2640uS/cm
For example: 4-20 mA output, measuring range is 2000 ppm, if the sensor output current is 12 mA, then corresponding TDS value at this time.
For: TDS = 2000ppmx (Sensor Output Current - 4.0)/16.0
= 2000 ppm x (12.0-4.0)/16.0 = 1000 ppm
Because the PH electrode is easily polluted in the measuring environment, the signal of the electrode is affected. In order to ensure the long-term normal use of the PH sensor, it is usually necessary to calibrate the transmitter periodically (once a month) through the calibration fluid. The specific calibration cycle depends on the water sample.
Transmitter Calibration and Electrical Excellence Bad Detection
1. Clean the electrodes with CO2-free distilled water and wipe them dry with soft paper towels.
2. Correctly connect the power supply and electrodes of the transmitter.
3. Press the calibration button until the calibration indicator is yellow, then release the button.
4. Press the calibration button twice until the calibration indicator flashes red. At this time, the transmitter enters the zero point calibration process.
(This process lasts for 30 seconds). After calibration, the calibration indicator is always red.
5. After the calibration indicator is red and always bright, the electrode is immersed in the prepared standard solution. The different ranges and corresponding standard solution are as follows:
0-440uS range corresponding standard liquid: 146.5uS/cm
0-4400uS and 0-2000ppm range corresponding standard liquid: 1413uS/cm
0-44000uS range corresponding standard solution: 12.88mS/cm
6. Press the calibration button quickly once. At this time, the green flashing of the calibration indicator lights, and the transmitter enters the calibration standard point process.
(This process takes 30 seconds). After calibration, the green light of the calibration indicator is always on for 20 seconds, and then the Yellow flicker for 20 seconds indicates that the calibration data will be saved soon.
7. Electrode quality detection (automatic judgment) and data preservation:
In the process of calibration, if the electrode is damaged and the electrode is not matched, the red and green flashing of the calibration indicator alarms alternately. After 20 seconds of flickering, the indicator lights go out, and the calibration data of this round is not saved.
If there is no fault in the process of calibration, the transmitter automatically stores the data of this round calibration. The calibration indicator is always yellow for 20 seconds, and the calibration of this round is completed.
